Students will be tested in both theory and practical components at the end of each unit to suit
the diversity of learning styles within the class.
There is a high demand in today's salons for qualified professionals. Oakville College, School of
Hair Design will prepare you for a rewarding career in professional salons, or may awaken your
entrepreneurial spirit and inspire you to open your own salon. Placements in area salons will be
recommended based on compatibility of the student and salon, to make the start of your career as
suitable to your needs as possible.
